Regarding chapter 60

While I technically do have a chapter 60 to release, I shall not be doing so, as these guys over here have already posted theirs. Please go over there to snag that. Unfortunately, the Slapslash release was stymied by various ongoing IRL issues. As such, Slapslash is going on temporary official hiatus until those are resolved.

But sooner than later, we shall return!

Release: Volume 10, Chapter 59

Well, the long radio silence was due to some behind-the-scenes shenanigans. To make a long story short, SlapSlash now has a proper, skilled editor in the form of one Deathy80. Round of applause, please.

Thus, I may now present what is likely to be the proper/final release of chapter 59.

However, please do NOT submit to the reading sites yet, as we're going to go back and produce superior versions of the backlogged chapters.

Well, I certainly wasn't expecting that many logo submissions! Thanks, guys! So, the best idea here, IMO, would be if everybody's logos get used. I'm going to go down the comments on the previous post and grab the next unused logo for each chapter release. Apparently Kamy D and Kaidian's logos would be first up for the proper release of the two draft chapters that are floating around. If you guys want to mess with the logos you've already demoed before I use them, that's fine. HOWEVER! This is SlapSlash, and logos dashed off really fast match the theme. So don't stress over it.

General status update: If all goes well, the final releases w/notes of chapters 56 and 57 will be out by next weekend. Planning to polish off the draft version of chapter 58 within the next week or two. Planning. We'll see about that.

EDIT (3/13/13): Stuff got busy; drafts are getting upgraded next weekend. Please remain calm.

Regarding releases that are less sketchy... SlapSlash is in need of a logo. As you all know, SlapSlash's proprietor is...unskilled at graphics. If any of those reading this post would care to submit a logo, that would be most appreciated. Official releases will commence once a decent logo is on hand.

Finalesque version of chapter 57 (now with logical page numbering!) and draft of chapter 58 coming this weekend. If all goes well. Haven't actually started working on it yet. Spot the problem(s) with that plan. Well, 頑張るぞ～！

If anyone feels like encouraging me, show me some HxB fanworks! Fanfiction, fanart, replicas of famous landmarks made out of copies of the HxB omnibuses... Whatever. Be warned that I've already seen everything on Pixiv, so no trying to pass those off as your own. I want to see *your* stuff, international HxB fans!

An updated version should surface past Christmas, so don't get hasty with submitting to dubious sites, people. Just read it, enjoy your day, and possibly consider buying extra copies of the official books to show support for the mangaka.

Notes are...pending. As usual. There are some I legit think need to go in here, though, so they will appear in the final version.

I apologize in advance for the amount of use of the word "ya" in here. I'll probably try to tone that down on the final draft. Or not, to encourage you all to want a professional translation. >:D
